Welcome to the Royal Free and University College Medical School Boat Club

RUMSBC, formed in 1998 following the almagamation of the University College, Royal Free and Middlesex Medical Schools, compete mainly under the United Hospitals (UH) and University of London (UL) banners. With over 100 members, 7 permenant crews and an ever-growing fleet of boats, RUMSBC is a force to be reckoned with.

Last year saw our Women's Novice VIII take three UH gold medals (UH Novice Sprints, UH Winter Regatta and UH Head), the Men's Novice VIII winning the UH Winter Regatta, the Men's 2nd VIII winning UH Head and the Women's 1st VIII winning the title of Head of the River at UH Bumps. All in all, RUMSBC was the most successful club in UH, easily beating the medal tally of any other Medical School in London. This year, the crews are looking stronger than ever and are training hard to take UH by storm once again.
